Gaming Backup Multitool for Linux (GBML) - MOVED TO GITLAB

ATTENTION - This repo has been migrated to GitLab: https://gitlab.com/supremesonicbrazil/GBML

This repo won't accept any new issues or pull requests, and it will be deleted one month from now, on July 10th 2018, so stargazers and followers can spread awareness about the new repo.

This repo was migrated in response to Microsoft buying GitHub. This is not directed in any way to anyone who might have a different opinion from mine, as I respect freedom of speech and the right for every human being to express their opinion without pre-judgement.

I don't want to invoke any fights, tell people who's wrong and who's not, or impose any point of view regarding this. This is purely a personal instance. I simply can't and won't cope with Microsoft's or any other monopoly's bad practices again, no matter how much people have said they've "changed" or how "this ain't the '90s anymore". Seriously, if you say things like that, you really should be ashamed of yourself IMO, yet I respect you, after all it is your personal opinion, you have the right to have it as much as I have the right to have mine, and to each their own. I invite you to read about what I think, if you wish, down below, and you may even message me on Reddit (/u/TheSupremist) if you want to keep on discussing this in a healthy manner (regarding you're not a low-level troll who only wants to piss someone off for shits and giggles, and if it's the case, sorry but you've found the wrong person):

What I believe is, companies rarely manage to change their culture when they're well established. Say what you will, I only trust facts. If Microsoft ever cared about open-source the way they say they do, they would've opened everything they have, from Windows to Office to DirectX to everything else. If this ever happens, then, and only then, I may change my mind. To prove this, I explicitly state from now on that if Microsoft ever uses any resource whatsoever from past commits in this repo, it will only prove they should never be trusted again, as it is obvious enough that their morality will never change, their company culture will never change and they just care about their profits, no matter the cost or effort. It will prove that "embrace, extend, entinguish" is still their modus operandi after all these years.

You may think I'm being extremist, retarded, whatever. You may care about this, or you may not give two shits about it. But at the very least I expect you won't be cussing at me, because I'm not cussing at you. Do whatever you want. I migrated to GitLab because I wanted to, and if you want to, I encourage you to find an open-source alternative to GitHub ASAP to host your most critical projects. It doesn't have to necessarily be GitLab, there are others like Gitea and Gogs, but from here on it's all about your personal research, what matters is that it is open-source, and you can bail out or self-host it if you ever feel you need to in worst case scenario. Who knows what may happen now.

Peace. May all monopolies/empires fall, as it was with the Roman Empire.

PS: You may have also heard about this repo - https://github.com/upend/IF_MS_BUYS_GITHUB_IMMA_OUT - probably it could be a good start to plan your migration, if you want to.
